Pablo Suárez-Mansilla González

Pablo Suárez-Mansilla González has a BA in audiovisual communications from the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela (USC) and a master’s degree in contemporary films and audiovisual advanced studies from Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) in Barcelona.

He is currently a research fellow of the ERC StG project “Social Networks of the Past: Mapping Hispanic and Lusophone Literary Modernity, 1898-1959” (Grant Agreement: 803860) in the Department of Arts and Humanities and the Internet Interdisciplinary Institute (IN3) at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC) under the supervision of Diana Roig-Sanz.

He is a member of the Global Literary Studies Research Lab, the Audiovisual Studies Research Group –Audiovisual Communication: Contents, Formats and Technology– (GEA, USC), and the Aesthetic Research on Audiovisual Media Group (CINEMA, UPF).

His research interests encompass several academic approaches, especially cultural sociohistory, art theory, and aesthetics.
